We invite you to come and see us in this new location.
Very likely next September, we will leave Loches to create a new bed and breakfast in a charming village, Lerne, in the middle of the Loire valley vineyards.

We are moving to the “outbuildings” of the Chateau de Chavigny, which was built in 1638 by the famous French architect Le Muet and partly destroyed in the XIX th century. It still exists a lodge and a chapel, which are listed monuments like the outbuildings where we move. Consequently they are protected against any damages

First we will propose 3 very large bedrooms and a luxurious family suite, all equipped with their private bath room.
Guests will have also at their entire disposal a sitting room, a billiard room, a dining room and a swimming pool in the listed formal garden.
They will have also the possibility to reserve dinners, which will be prepared and served in the dining room.
The position of the village of Lerne allows very easy visits: the “Futuroscope” at Poitiers, the main Chateaux of the Loire valley : Ussé, Langeais, Villandry, Chinon, Montsoreau, the abbey de Fontevraud , the town of Saumur, its Chateau and the famous military riding school. Candes St Martin, listed as one of the most beautiful villages, offers the opportunity to pass by boat through the mingled waters where Loire and Vienne converge and to cross the ancient boundary line between Touraine and Anjou.
The vineyards of Chinon, Bourgueil and other ones, all being officially classified as French products of quality (AOC) can be visited in one or 2 days.
Far 2 kilometres from Lerné, at Seuilly, deep in the Chinonais vineyards, there is the
XV th century country house “La Deviniere”, scene of the “Guerres Picrocholines”, told by the famous French writer Rabelais in his masterpiece “Garguanta”. It houses a literary museum.
We will be delighted to welcome you in this heaven of peace, to help you and advise you in the choice of your visits according to your interest centres.
