Set up in a XVIII th century cottage, your self catering in the loire valley offers preserved period features and modern fittings which guarantee a maximum of comfort and well being.

This constant research of the quality and the respect of the old traditions have been recognised by the regional Prefect who has granted a four star label.

Self-catering fittings up

Accommodation capacity: 4 persons

Ground floor: fully-equipped "American" kitchen", living room which opens onto a private 20 square meter terrace overlooking the river and the park. Stone stairs are going down to the river and to another small terrace.

First floor: 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin beds) share a bathroom. The balcony of one room overlooks the river and the park.

Royal Fortress of Loches

Loches is one of the most beautiful fortified tows in France.

You will go back to the prison world during Middle Age period : The Louis XI tower , the torture room, the graffitti room ,the jails, the fortifications and the undergrounds.

During Renaissance period, the Logis Royal has an important place in the french history.Thje Logis has housed Jeanne d'Arc, Agnes Sorel, Anne de Bretagne. A fantastic discovery !

The Chateau of Chenonceau

The chateau of Chenonceau is the most visited in France after the chateau of Versailles. Named "the Chateau of the Ladies" it was built at the beginning of the XVI th century by Katherine Briconnet, made prettier by Diane de Poitiers then by Catherine de Medicis. It was protected by Louise Dupin during the French revolution. Handsomely furnished and decorated , the chateau of Chenonceau presents a fabulous collection of paintings by Rubens, Poussin, Veronese...

All over the year rooms of the chateau are flowered . The chateau is listed since 1840., the park as well since 1962.

The Chateau of Amboise

Overlooking the Loire river, the chateau of Amboise has belonged for 4 centuries to the powerful family of Amboise. In 1434 it was brought under the crown of France and was a royal residence during the Renaissance period.

Many intellectuals and artists stay in the chateau such as Leonardo of Vinci who died and was buried in the Chapel of the Chateau.

Thjis chateau keeps an important place in the French history and has a wonderful collection of gothic and Renaissance period furniture which represents a witness of the artistic refinement of the French Renaissance. The visit of the gardens offers a fantastic overview on the Loire River and on the town.
